Google API Services User Data Policy: Limited Use

    Last updated: 14 August 2026

This page sets out how Dazhboards handles information received from Google APIs.

    Our affirmative statement

Dazhboards' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

    What this means in practice

Where the Dazhboards platform accesses data through Google Workspace, Google Photos or other Google APIs, we confirm that:

    • We use Google user data only to provide and improve features that are visible and prominent in the Dazhboards user interface, and only for the purposes disclosed to the user at the time consent is given.
    • We do not use, transfer or sell Google user data, whether in raw, aggregated, anonymised or derived form, to develop, train or improve any generalised or foundational artificial intelligence or machine learning model.
    • We do not transfer Google user data to any third-party artificial intelligence or machine learning service that would use that data to train or improve its models.
    • We do not transfer or sell Google user data to advertising platforms, data brokers or information resellers, and we do not use it to serve advertisements, including retargeting, personalised or interest-based advertising.
    • Humans do not read Google user data, except where the user has given explicit consent for a specific action such as support, where the data has been aggregated and anonymised for internal operations, where it is necessary for security purposes such as investigating abuse, or where required to comply with applicable law.
    • We request the narrowest set of OAuth scopes needed to deliver the features a user has chosen to enable, and users may revoke access at any time from their Google Account permissions page.

Artificial intelligence and Google user data

Some Dazhboards features use generative artificial intelligence. Where a feature processes Google user data, that processing occurs only through providers engaged under paid commercial or enterprise terms that contractually prohibit the use of our content to train or improve their models. We do not use free, trial or consumer versions of any artificial intelligence service to process Google user data.

A current list of our artificial intelligence subprocessors, together with the basis on which each is engaged, is published in our Privacy Policy.

    Data retention and deletion

We retain Google user data only for as long as necessary to deliver the feature for which it was collected, or as required to comply with a legal obligation. Users may request deletion of their data at any time by emailing privacy@dazhboards.com. Valid requests are actioned in accordance with applicable privacy laws and Google's data deletion guidelines.
